Here we have a unmarked Boys Axe!
There are some marking on the head. We can make out, "1/4 1M1C9 CHI" which makes us believe this is product out of China (hence the lower price point). This was discovered at an estate sale where most of the items had gone untouched for at least 40 years - this axe is probably from the 1950-1960's range.
This is still a solid axe that is ready to tackle firewood or hang on the wall of your man cave, pull barn or garage. The hickory handle has been sanded, sealed and painted.
This makes a great pieces for the axe lover in your life.
